Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the primary airport serving Atlanta, GA. It is also one of the largest and busiest airports in the U.S. While they are efficient in moving people through the airport, plan accordingly when making flight reservations and arrive 2-hours prior to departure time, particularly with large groups.

Lodging

There are many choices for lodging in the Atlanta or event area of Rutledge, GA (the closest of which is Covington or Conyers, GA). Downtown Atlanta is approx. 50-60 mins to Hard Labor Creek State Park. Choice of lodging location is dependent on each teams desire to be closer to the park or to airport and/or downtown Atlanta and it's main attractions. Meet HQ Hotel is TBD but will likely be in the Conyers/Covington area.

Weather

The weather in the Atlanta area is generally mild in March with an avg. daily high of 66F and avg. low of 43F. As is the case in most areas when approach spring, the weather can be unpredictable. Check the weather often as the championship nears for up-to-date info.

HLC State Park

NNOC 2023 will be held at Hard Labor Creek State Park. One of the many great parks in the GA state parks system, HLC will will provide a terrific venue for the best Navy JROTC orienteers in the country.
